Numa House is your wellness home in the heart of Newquay. At the centre of Numa House is Pilates — intelligent movement that helps women reconnect with their strength, posture and confidence. Around this foundation, we curate a network of trusted therapies designed to work together, supporting the body from the inside out.
Pilates is where everything begins at Numa House. Through both mat and reformer classes, we help women build strength, improve posture and reconnect with how their bodies move and feel.
Rather than offering isolated treatments, we bring together practitioners and therapies that work in harmony with movement.
Massage, reflexology, nutrition, pelvic health and red light therapy all sit alongside Pilates as part of a connected approach to wellbeing.
The result is a space where women can move, restore and rebuild their energy in a way that feels both safe and supportive.
Our founder
Alice discovered Pilates during her pregnancy after stepping away from the fast-paced world of television, where the long hours and pressure were beginning to take their toll. While yoga helped her slow down, Pilates gave her the strength and understanding of movement she had been missing.
What began as a personal journey quickly grew into a passion. Alice trained in mat, reformer and postnatal Pilates and started teaching in local community spaces, creating classes that were energetic, supportive and empowering.
Numa House grew from that same vision — a space where women can move, rebuild their strength and feel supported through both Pilates and carefully curated therapies.
Located above the high street in the heart of Newquay, Numa House is a light-filled, first-floor wellness space designed for movement, recovery and connection. At the front of the studio, our bright Pilates space overlooks the bustle below and hosts both mat and reformer classes throughout the day.
Beyond the studio, Numa House includes three dedicated treatment rooms and a private red light therapy room, allowing therapies to sit naturally alongside movement as part of a connected approach to wellbeing.
At the centre of the space is our reception area — a welcoming place to pause before or after your session. With fresh herbal teas and water always available, it’s where clients hang out, chat and settle into the rhythm of the studio.
